~*Bee Happy*~

First item this month, is this precious Bee Happy wool applique on a vintage Sucrets tin.
I stitched this using wool and embroidery floss.
The two small blue flowers are tiny buttons.
It is hard to capture in the photo, but the red flower petals and the leaves on the stem are not sewn down. I wanted to give it some dimension.
I sewed in a magnet on the back so it would sit on the tin and not have to be glued on.
This way it could also be used as a refrigerator magnet or on any metal surface.

It measures 2 1/2" X 3 1/4"
Kindly asking $32.00 plus shipping

~*Beehive Hooked Rug*~

Secondly, I am offering this wonderfully primitive Beehive hand hooked rug.
The wool is some of my yummy hand-dyed wool and is very soft and muted in color.
The edge is whipped with my chunky dyed yarn and comes with my tag on the back.

The rug measures 12" X 17 1/2"
Kindly asking $145.00 plus shipping.
SOLD~Thank you Karen!

**Welcome to my June Offerings**

~Two Stars Hooked Mat with Lambs Tongues~

This one-of-a-kind hooked rug is ready to be displayed for the 4th of July!
It measures 9" X 12" from lambs tongue to lambs tongue.
The wool was pulled through a linen foundation with a combination of my hand-dyed and as-is wool, in my favorite primitive reds, creams and blues.
Each lambs tongue was individually stitched and then added.

SOLD~Thanks Karen!

~Americana Penny Rug~

I have created this perfectly primitive one-of-a-kind penny rug for your consideration. This rug is kind of a crazy one, meaning I stitched it using a few different materials, like a crazy quilt. The materials I used are wool, old ticking, and one of the big pennies was cut from an antique paisley. I stitched them on an antique sugar sack. I thought the sugar sack was perfect for the backing for an Americana penny rug. The sack is a 10 LBS Union Sugar Co. bag and
has the blue shield and stars still visible.
The rug measures 9 1/2" X 14"
Working with the imperfections of the vintage sugar sack gives this penny rug some of its charm!
The colors of the pennies are muted than what is shown,
I could not get a great photo of the true colors on this cloudy rainy day.

Kindly asking $68.00 plus travel fare.

~Americana Eagle Appliqued Mat~

is stitched with little primitive stitches.

The stars on the banner are stitched with 1776.
